We at HTE firmly believe that the ability to learn is maximised from within a comfortable and relaxed environment and as a result are very excited to reveal our next three day rural studio retreat on 27th, 28th and 29th March 2026 We feel we have found the the perfect remote hideaway situated on the Devon and Cornwall border, a private address that not only boasts it’s own accommodation, but spacious communal areas, a games room with Pool Table, Pioneer DJ booth, fully equipped recording studio, kitchen/dining area, free parking and stunning immediate countryside, lakeside views and the famous Tamar river within just a 10 minute walk.
With over 75+ years of combined industry experience Amber D, Guyver, Lab4 and Nick The Kid invite you to spend an insightful weekend at our secret HTE hideaway where we intend to share our knowledge across a three day learning program, tailored around your specific needs. Maybe you want to get started with production from scratch? Maybe you are struggling to finish your tracks? Want help with specific production techniques? Or just want to spend some time DJ’ing in our booth recording a pro-demo or simply asking questions related to industry, gigs, social media or even how to improve your chances of getting your music noticed? Whatever it is, we will be on hand each day to ensure you leave with the answers, help and skills you need.
Across this invaluable three days, there will be group QnA’s and discussions, guest speakers, non-rushed one-to-one studio time where you can request our advice/ input on your music/career, a session of your own in a fully equipped recording studio with a professional engineer to mix and master your final piece of music. We aim to provide a cost effective, high impact and less rigid learning experience to many similar courses, and one where you will only be honing in on the things that you personally want or need to learn, expand upon or achieve. We also aim to have every participant in the retreat leave the weekend with a fully finished and pro-mastered track or DJ Mix.
Included in our retreat are three nights accommodation on site, all food and drink and 8 hours of learning time with our team each day from 10am-6pm Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Spaces are limited to just 10 places and supported producer platforms are Logic X, Ableton or FL Studio. Although all skills and knowledge are of course transferable. We will be reaching out to each participant prior to the retreat on a call to discuss a bespoke strategy for the weekend ahead. The legendary Mixmag Future hero and Tidy Girl Globetrotter will be making her first visit to the HTE Hideaway, bringing with her years upon years of industry, production and DJ experience that has cemented her position as one of the most prominent female names on the UK Hard Dance circuit. Experienced as a producer across Ableton and FL Studio Amber will be on hand to share her extensive knowledge, advice and of course humour.
Guyver
Making a very welcome return to the school of HTE, UK Hard Trance legend Guyver will be back in the saddle, again sharing in-depth tips, tricks, and production knowledge that helped propel him around the world as one of the youngest and brightest stars to have ever conquered the Global Hard Dance scene. A seasoned pro when it comes to production, Guy (as well as all the other tutors) will be on hand to advise, teach and tick all those unanswered boxes helping you overcome those obstacles that have been holding you back.
Lab4
(Les Elston)
As one half of award-winning globetrotting live act Lab4, Les Elston has over three decades of experience, knowledge and acquired skills. Whether as a performer, producer, label owner or DJ, Les continues to fly the Lab4 flag globally. Not many can boast a visit to their home studio from the late great John Peel and also a visit to Maida Vale to perform Live, Les can, and we are very excited to have him returning to the Hard Trance Europe studio retreat.
Les (as well as all other tutors) will be on hand all weekend to get your productions rockin' and your questions answered.
Nick The Kid

With over 25+ years of solid front-line industry experience, the previous Hard Dance Award winner has worked in many areas including high-level event promotion, Global DJ’ing, production and engineering, label management, artist representation, music reviews and much much more. Having also worked closely with recognised brands and leading institutions such as Ministry Of Sound, DMC World Magazine, Judgement Sundays (Ibiza), Black Hole Recordings, Trackitdown, Loopmasters, Beatport and many more, the head honcho of Hard Trance Europe is now ready to pass on as much knowledge as he can across this unique three day learning experience.
Spaces for the summer HTE Hideaway are limited to just 10 places and available to the first 10 people to sign up. We will also be selecting the best productions that emerge from this creative weekend for a a possible inclusion on our next HTE Hideaway.
